Assignment 3: Blog post / Intro to Laser Cutting

Due: Sunday Oct 2, 11:59 pm

1. Upload a blog post of your mini presentations, each slide can be a jpeg. Write mini explanations on what you found interesting. This is what you have already presented in class. Date for Sept 19.

2. 2D MOSAIC: Import one, two or more of the physical reference, photographs taken, or online images you have collected from patterns in your environment. Using curves and other drawing tools in Rhino 7, design your own interpretation of these patterns, you can also doodle or add your own sketches.  
Consider the compilation of these designs, how you may display multiples of them, arrange them, overlap them, or stage them to create a mosaic. Consider the negative space created between the patterns, and how imagery can begin to emerge when reinterpreting the patterns. Create a blog post of your images, including process, learnings, and challenges before Sunday Oct 2, 11:59 pm.

3. Good luck developing the second part of your first Project! Find Project description here. You will upload a progress report of your project development, to be presented at the beginning of class on October 3rd.
